eVal provide trailing peer company Enterprise Value (EV) and Market Cap multiples, including EV/Revenue, EV/EBITDA, EV/Total Assets, and P/E. Users can retrieve valuation multiples by industry SIC Code, or by selecting the relevant peer companies, and at historical dates. N.b. historic multiples utilise market and financial data as at the specified date of evaluation.
eVal’s peer company data includes traditional financial metrics such as EBIT/EBITDA Margin, Net Income Margin, Return-on-Equity (ROE), Return-on-Assets (ROA), Asset Turnover, Interest Burden and Interest Coverage. We also provide additional non-standard financial metrics such as ROE (EBIT) and ROA (EBIT), whereby we substitute traditional net income earnings with EBIT (or EBITDA) earnings instead, to calculate and determine EBIT(DA) return-on-assets i.e. ROE (EBIT) = EBIT/Equity.
Users can retrieve financial metric data by selecting relevant peer companies to create a user defined peer group, or by selecting the appropriate industry SIC Code to retrieve financial metric data for the companies within the selected SIC Code.
eVal’s Market Data service is available to determine comparable company market cap and enterprise value data at current and historical dates. We provide historical share price data and are able to detail peer company market cap, enterprise value, net debt and shares outstanding at user selected dates.
We provide summary Financial Statement data including the main Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement line items. Summary Balance Sheet information includes, amongst others, Current Assets/Liabilities, Total Assets/Liabilities, Tangible Assets, Intangible Assets, and Shareholders’ Equity.
Users can download Financial Statement data by selecting relevant peer companies, or by choosing an appropriate industry SIC Code to retrieve Financial Statement data for companies operating within a particular SIC Code.
